It (paradise) is not obtained by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides God, a protector or a helper. And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer, those will enter paradise and will not be wronged, (even as mush as) the speck on a date seed. Surah an-Nisa' Chapter 4 vs 123.

Who are you? 

Why are you here on earth i.e what is the purpose of your existence?

How can you find and achieve that purpose?

Or did you create yourself on this earth?

If not, then who created you and why?

Are you living in accordance to the purpose of your creator?

God Almighty created every human being upon fitrah, that is, the natural inclination towards worshiping and obeying Him. Deviation from or corruption of this fitrah results in difficult, unfulfilling and unbalanced life and ultimately doom and condemnation into the fire of hell in the hereafter.

So what is to be done now?

Turn back to your creator sincerely and connect with Him by:

• Knowing Him

• Knowing how to worship/obey Him

• Striving to worship and please Him to the best of your ability.

"And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" Surah Al-Hijr Ch 15 Vs 56
